Restaurant Rumor

Is a new “breastaurant” soon to be busting out in Benton County?

That is the word from a trusted real estate watcher, and in the long shadow of Cross Church, no less.

And all the lonely, middle-aged men saddened by the closing of the Fayetteville Hooters said? Amen.

Twin Peaks, a chain based in Addison, Texas, is the name we hear for a new restaurant somewhere in the neighborhood of Target, near the Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers.

The restaurant, as we understand it, conveys to its patrons a specific theme — specifically, a lodge in the northern wilderness, with food and beverage served by waitresses clad in revealing red plaid uniform tops.

“Twin Peaks provides boldly flavored comfort food and ice cold, 29-degree draft beer served by friendly, attractive Twin Peaks Girls,” according to its website.

The company was founded in 2005 and now has more than 50 locations in 21 states at last count. It entered the Arkansas market earlier this year with a location in West Little Rock.

Stay tuned.
