SIX Participants selected to attend National Opportunities throughout the year.

Fort Smith, AR (November 7th, 2013) – After an incredible year, The First Tee of Fort Smith will be honoring participants and highlighting six young people who were selected to participate in National Opportunities throughout the year. We will have an informal Open House reception on Tuesday, November 19th from 5:30 – 7:30 for all participants, parents, sponsors, media and potential members to have the opportunity to celebrate the end of 2013 classes and congratulate our National Participants. Younger participants will have the chance to hear a brief statement from each of the players who were selected for these once in a lifetime events, which will inspire and encourage each of them to work hard and stay on course towards their own goals. Addison Mitchell will also be presenting a $12,000 check that she won on behalf of our chapter while competing in the Coca-Cola Champions Challenge in Pebble Beach with Champions Professional Jeff Sluman. Light refreshments will be served and staff and board members will be available to answer any questions in a casual setting to anyone wanting to learn more about The First Tee of Fort Smith programming, volunteer opportunities and facility.

We hope our media friends will join us in celebrating the achievements of all of our children and take the opportunity to highlight the Six Outstanding Participants for their outstanding leadership as role-models within our program and in the community.
