Tyler Vance Promoted To COO At Bank Of The Ozarks

Tyler Vance has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer for Bank of the Ozarks.

His duties include oversight of information technology and systems, retail banking, marketing, training, treasury management, deposit operations and internal audit.

Vance has spent 17 years in the financial industry. Prior to joining Bank of the Ozarks, he served as Chief Financial Officer for another community bank and worked for an international accounting firm. He joined Bank of the Ozarks in 2006 as Senior Vice President and in 2011 was promoted to Chief Banking Officer, a title he retains with his new duties as Chief Operating Officer.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Ouachita Baptist University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Vance is a Certified Public Accountant.
