Mercy Announces New Chief Operating Officer

Brenda Chase, a longtime employee of the Mercy health care organization, has been named chief operating officer of Mercy Northwest Arkansas.
According to a news release, Chase will lead the clinical and ancillary operations of Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas, a 200-bed facility in Rogers.
Chase was previously the chief operating officer at Mercy Hospital Hot Springs. She is the third generation of her family to work at Mercy, beginning as a part-time nursing assistant 20 years ago.
She was previously the director of ambulatory care, assistant vice president of patient care services and vice president of patient care services at Mercy Hot Springs.
