After completing four seasons on television’s Private Practice and collecting her record-tying fifth Tony Award (for her lead role in The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess), Grammy Award-winning soprano Audra McDonald hits the stage for a one-night-only concert, performing songs from her new solo album, Go Back Home.  The album includes favorites like “Edelweiss” and “Make Someone Happy” as well as newer songs by an emerging generation of composers.  McDonald can currently be seen on television as the Host of PBS’s popular Live From Lincoln Center. Performing at the Fort Smith Convention Center tickets are $52 and $55 and can be purchases at http://UAFS.universitytickets.com/user_pages/event.asp?id=208 or by calling 479-788-7300.
