Did you hear that an educational childcare facility in Bentonville is under new ownership?

Sabina Barzsap, a sculptor from Bronx, N.Y., bought the Pine Crest Private School at Southwest Liberty Avenue in a $2.58 million deal.

Barzsap made the purchase through her 404 Camp Craft Rd. Ltd. The school is near Central Park Elementary School at Morning Star on Arkansas Highway 112 at the Cave Springs border.

The seller? Randy Williams, a Texas businessman who owned the building through Pinecrest Daycare Ltd.

As we understand it, Barzsap will continue to lease the building to Phoenix Children’s Academy Inc. of Scottsdale, Ariz.

PCA operates more than 100 preschool, elementary, Christian-based and Montessori school locations throughout the United States.

Williams, meanwhile, is staying busy with other childhood learning projects in Northwest Arkansas. He was the principal behind the recently opened Cedar Crest Academy in Fayetteville, and is developing a similar project in Rogers.
