EZ Spanish Media LLC, the parent company of La Zeta radio stations in Springdale and Little Rock, raised $362,011 with radiothons benefiting patients and families at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

The Creadores de Milagros (Miracle Makers) radiothons, aimed at bilingual Hispanic listeners, were held in April. The fourth annual Northwest Arkansas event raised $255,154, while the inaugural Little Rock radiothon raised $106,857.

The Little Rock station, La Zeta 106.3, became the first Spanish-language FM radio station in Little Rock when it began broadcasting last fall.

“Thanks to the tremendous generosity of our community, thousands of patients will have the chance to have a brighter tomorrow,” Eddie Vega, owner of Springdale-based EZ Spanish Media, said in a news release from the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation. “We are very excited and happy to be able to help Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Their patients are an inspiration and a big motivator for our team and community.”
