Pryor Raised Nearly $2 Million Last Quarter
U.S. Senator Mark Pryor raised nearly $2 million in the first of 2013, according to Politico.
From Politico:
Pryor brought in $1.9 million over the last three months, officials told POLITICO, and has $3.4 million in the bank. His first-quarter posting puts him ahead of some of his fellow Democrats up in 2014 and is an impressive figure from a small-state senator not in the leadership or atop a major committee.
The biggest chunk of that haul came from a fundraiser last month hosted by former President Bill Clinton, which reportedly raised $1 million.
Pryor is likely in for a hard fought re-election race, potentially facing either Congressman Tom Cotton or Congressman Steve Womack.
Lt. Governor Mark Darr previously said he was considering the race, but as I predicted, yesterday Darr said would not run for the Senate.
The fundraising reports for all federal candidates and office-holders are due April 15 and covers the time period of January 1 to March 31 2013.
