P&G and Saatchi X Win More Effie Awards

Procter & Gamble and Saatchi & Saatchi X won a pair of Shopper Marketing Effie Awards on Tuesday in Chicago, bringing their three-year total to eight.

The awards are presented to the most effective integrated retail campaigns that solve shopper marketing challenges and lead to a retail purchase, and are part of a partnership with the Path to Purchase Institute.

“The innovative campaigns and fantastic results that our teams consistently produce is amazing,” Jeff Schomburger, P&G president for the Walmart Global Team, said in a news release. “P&G has partnered with Saatchi X for over 15 years and together we continue to deliver outstanding business results at Walmart.”

“Our business is about delivering measurable results for our clients; results that are sustainable and help build their businesses,” said Dina Howell, Saatchi & Saatchi X worldwide CEO Dina Howell.

According to the release, P&G and Saatchi X have teamed up to earn four times more Shopper Marketing Effie Awards than any other agency-client combination, and one-third of the total awards given. This year’s awards were for Saatchi X’s work related to Febreze products.

Saatchi X also won an award for its work on Quaker’s “Power their Potential” campaign, in the multi-brand solution category.

“This well-executed campaign by the Quaker and Saatchi X team produced outstanding business results across 38 different retail formats, a fantastic accomplishment,” said Justin Lambeth, Quaker’s chief marketing officer.
