BOK A-OK According to List

We barely had put the finishing touches on our April 15 Banking & Finance issue when we got a tip about BOK Financial’s appearance on a noteworthy list.

You probably know Bank of Arkansas, which has banking centers in Bentonville and Fayetteville, is a division of BOKF. And according to our tip, the nearly $112 million in mortgage originations in Northwest Arkansas helped BOKF earn a No. 9 ranking on the ABA Banking Journal’s list of top performing public big banks and thrifts.

The Journal defined big banks as those with $10 billion or more in total assets.

Also worth noting is which bank ranked fourth among the Journal’s top performing private and foreign-owned big banks and thrifts. That would be Arvest Bank Group.
