Attorneys Attorneys Based in Rogers
Reminder for those who might have forgotten: The date of this issue coincides with the scheduled hearings in federal court in Fayetteville for Brandon Barber, K. Vaughn Knight, James Van Doren, Jeff Whorton and Brandon Rains.
The men were named in recent federal indictments that included a variety of charges like bank fraud and money laundering. The indictments are connected to Barber’s time as a Northwest Arkansas developer and his subsequent bankruptcy.
Shortly before press time, we learned Knight, a Fayetteville attorney, has retained David R. Matthews and Kimberly R. Weber of Rogers-based Matthews, Campbell, Rhoads, McClure & Thompson PA to represent him.
As previously reported in the Business Journal, Barber is being represented by Asa Hutchinson III of the Asa Hutchinson Law Group in Rogers, while Whorton is being represented by Taylor Law Partners LLP in Fayetteville.
