Ever since Fresh Market opened in Rogers, rumors have abounded that Whole Foods Market also was looking into a Northwest Arkansas location.
The latest version claims the Austin, Texas-based natural and organic foods supermarket chain has bought land near the Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers. Alas for Whole Foods fans, a spokesman for the company said that despite its plans for rapid expansion, she has no information on a new store slated for Arkansas.
