Caseys Pays $1.25 Million for Land in Farmington, Bella Vista (Real Deals)

Two land transactions totaling $1.25 million and involving Casey’s Marketing Co. were recently closed.

The two deals are paving the way for Casey’s General Store developments at Riordan Road and U.S. Highway 71B in Bella Vista, and at the southwest corner of Angus Lane and Arkansas Highway 62 in Farmington near the high school.

Casey’s, based in Ankeny, Iowa, bought 1.43 acres in Bella Vista for $900,000. The seller was Cooper Realty Investments Inc. of Rogers, led by president John A. Cooper III.

Amy Mills with Steve Fineberg & Associates Inc. of Bentonville represented both buyer and seller in the transaction.

Casey’s bought 1.08 acres in Farmington for $345,000. The sellers were Eagle Holdings LLC (0.41 acres) and Oakland Farms LLC (0.67 acres).

Mills represented the buyer in that transaction. Alan Cole with Colliers International of Bentonville represented Oakland Farms and Keith Marrs with Legend Realty of Farmington represented Eagle Holdings, of which he is the managing member.

 

Talamore Home

A 4,672-SF home in Phase V of Bentonville’s Talamore subdivision recently sold for $1.16 million.

Jay and Mary Jorgensen bought the Pembrook Circle property from Bruce Nelson and Sandra Davies-Nelson.

Jay Jorgenson is senior vice president and global chief compliance officer for Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

Wells Fargo Bank N.A. backed the deal with a 30-year mortgage worth $930,000.

Stewart Title Co. was the closing agent.

Carlene Clendenen with Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney Faucette in Rogers was the listing agent.

Joe Ferguson with Lindsey & Associates in Rogers represented the seller.

The home was built in 2005, and appraised in 2011 for $914,550.

Nelson bought the home in July 2011 from the Carol L. Schwindt Trust for $1.14 million.

Schwindt bought the property in May 2005 from McTab Construction Inc. for $1.2 million.

McTab bought the 2.2-acre lot in March 2004 from 3-Putz LLC for $93,000.

 

Clear Creek Abode

A 5,539-SF home in Phase I of the Clear Creek subdivision in Johnson recently sold for $735,000.

Chad and Jennifer Clinehens bought the Osage Circle home from National Residential Nominee Services Inc.

EverBank of Jacksonville, Fla., funded the deal with a mortgage of $588,000.

The home was built in 2003, and appraised in 2011 for $735,650.

NRNS acquired the home in July from Clinton Stephenson and Lisa Lowrie for $818,000.

Stephenson and Lowrie bought the two-story home in August 2008 from Clear Creek Residential LLC for $767,000.
