Mack Trucks Inc. recently announced 2012 winners for each of its U.S. regional sales divisions, and a local took top honors in the Southwest region.
That would be Shipley Motor Equipment Co. Lowell Division, owned by Carl H. Shipley II. Shipley Motor is one of 40 dealerships in the region.
Mack Trucks is part of the publicly traded Volvo Group, which employs almost 118,000 people in 19 countries, the company said. It reported $47.8 billion in sales in 2011.
