Razorback Foundation Seeks Modernization Through Re-branding
The fundraising arm of the University of Arkansas athletic department has launched a new logo, website and membership brochure in an effort to modernize its operation and increase communication with its members.
The announcement regarding the Razorback Foundation Inc., which has more than 13,000 members, was made via a press release on Thursday morning. According to the release, the changes in relation to the website — RazorbackFoundation.com — were made as a result of feedback from foundation members and the organization’s “deeply rooted desire to be a best-in-class athletic foundation that supports student-athletes through satisfied and engaged members.”
“Just as Razorback athletics has grown to consistently rank among the nation’s best, we are working to position the Razorback Foundation as one of the most responsive and effective athletic foundations in the country,” executive director Chris Wyrick said in the release. “Foundation support is vital to the success of Razorback student-athletes enabling them to pursue their college degrees, and successfully compete in their respective sports while proudly representing the University of Arkansas and our entire state.
“By taking these important steps, we are further engaging our members and building a foundation to support one of the nation’s most successful intercollegiate athletic programs.”
