Goodwill Pays $2.65 Million for Building on Pleasant Crossing
Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is expanding its footprint in Northwest Arkansas.
The Little Rock-based nonprofit organization recently completed a $2.65 million purchase of the vacant Interiors Galleria building at 4301 Pleasant Crossing Parkway in Rogers. The property will be converted into a Goodwill store, donation center and career services center.
Rebecca Brockman, a spokeswoman for GIA, said the store has a target opening date of mid-spring, following a remodel of the 29,559-SF building.
The store will be Goodwill’s seventh Northwest Arkansas location and first in Rogers. It operates two stores and one donation center in Fayetteville, one store in Bentonville and Springdale and a donation center in Bella Vista.
Goodwill bought the building and 3.52-acre lot from The Market at Rogers LLC, which is based in Tulsa and managed by Rob Phillips.
The property last changed hands in 2005 when Phillips bought the tract from Charles Reaves for $840,000
Interiors Galleria, a home decorating concept store, was built in 2007.
