Cherokee Heritage Center
Explore the Cherokee Nation’s rich history in their capital city located at the western boundary of the Ozark Mountains and surrounded by lakes, rivers, and breathtaking natural beauty. The Cherokee Heritage Center offers a look at Cherokee history through exhibits and cultural activities to make history come alive. Hands-on basket weaving, storytelling, and language engage visitors. Please wear comfortable, rubber-soled shoes for an optional walking tour of the recreated ancient Cherokee village of Tsa-La-Gi. Buffet lunch is included.
