C.R. Crawford Gets New Space

Fayetteville-based C.R. Crawford Construction has a new headquarters thanks to a $775,000 purchase from the Dash Goff Revocable Trust.

C.R. Crawford’s new home — at 1102 S. Happy Hollow Road in Fayetteville — expands its office space from the roughly 4,000 SF at its former headquarters on Crossover Road to about 6,000 SF. More importantly, it adds about 16,000 SF of warehouse space.

The deal closed in November and, we suspect, gives C.R. Crawford some much-needed room to grow.

It also fills a space left vacant by last year’s closing of Lightning Electric Inc., the former electrical contractor owned by Jason and Crystal Kuncl. LEI filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in October 2011.

Best we can tell, Benefit Bank of Fort Smith took ownership of the facilities on Happy Hollow Road in February, then sold them to Goff for $675,000 in July.

As for C.R. Crawford’s former space, the company has retained ownership and is seeking to lease it.
