Conner Eldridge, U.S. attorney for the Western District of Arkansas, announced recently the addition of five assistant U.S. attorneys.

U.S. District Judge P.K. Holmes swore in Brandon Carter, Glen Hines, Jonathan Ross, Allison Waldrip and Benjamin Wulff.

All but Ross will join the Fort Smith office.

Ross will join the Texarkana office after a decade as deputy prosecutor in Pulaski County.

Carter was a deputy prosecutor in Benton County for seven years, while Hines has experience as a prosecutor and trial judge with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Waldrip most recently practiced with the firm Womack, Phelps & McNeill in Jonesboro. Wulff previously served as deputy prosecutor in Sebastian County, and worked in civil practice in Fort Smith and Green Forrest, where he also was city attorney.
