Weichert Realtors The Griffin Co. Changes its Benton County Address
Weichert Realtors — The Griffin Co. has changed more than its address in Benton County, owner/executive broker Brandon Long said.
“We’re trying to be more customer-friendly, more customer-centric,” Long said recently during a tour of the company’s new home at Colonnade II, along Bentonville’s South Walton Boulevard.
To that end, the company’s new home offers a spacious waiting area, complete with complimentary coffee, bottled water, soda and popcorn. The waiting area is flanked by three conference rooms, all of which have wireless Internet and video capabilities.
Long said it’s a more convenient setup than Weichert’s previous location, on the third floor of an office building on Ajax Avenue in Rogers. The new space previously housed Spiedini Italian Grill and BodyWorks, but has been transformed by a $100,000-plus build-out.
The space also boasts a larger training area that’s used for Clark Long School of Real Estate classes, as well as continuing education work. The remaining office space accommodates about 50 employees, “with room to grow,” Long said.
The move from Rogers to Bentonville also was aimed at boosting a significant segment of Weichert Realtors — The Griffin Co.’s business.
“We live in a relocation market, so having a Bentonville address is very important,” Long said. “We have people moving here not just from all over the United States, but the world, and most of them don’t know that Rogers or Springdale or Fayetteville exist.”
To that end, Cara Hinkle serves as the company’s full-time relocation director. Additionally, Long said Jill Newell was made full-time marketing director in conjunction with the move.
