Huckabee Leads Republican Rally
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee led a rally for Republicans on Saturday to voice his support for voters to give the Arkansas GOP a legislative majority.
Huckabee, Congressman Tim Griffin (R) and GOP chairman Doyle Webb rallied supporters at Little Rock’s River Market on Saturday.
Katherine Johnson with our content partner, Fox 16 News, reports:
“Give the republicans a chance,” said Huckabee. “They have never in this state had an opportunity to have the majority of the house and senate. Give them a chance! If they don’t do better you can have another election in two years and figure it put then.”
Arkansas Democrats and Republicans are in a battle for control of the 100-member House of Representatives and the 35-member Senate.
Polling indicates that the state’s four Congressional districts and its six electoral votes for U.S. President will all be swept by Republicans.
