Northwest Health Moving Clinic to South Thompson

Northwest Health System is renovating an 8,228-SF building in Springdale to house a pair of its family practitioners.

Northwest Family Care-Southside is expected to open in November at the former Sigler Music Center building at 4401 S. Thompson St., just north of the Springdale Country Club.

NWS spokeswoman Pat Driscoll said the clinic will be the new home for doctors Kin Hood and John Nolen, who currently practice in a clinic at 803 Quandt Ave., near Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. Driscoll said Northwest Family Care-Quandt will close when the physicians move.

Hood and Nolen, through their Five Plus One LLC, paid $650,000 for the Sigler building in May. The property was appraised for $701,350 in 2010.

The deal was completed with a $1.25 million commercial mortgage and assignment of rents held by Liberty Bank of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

The building has been vacant since the music store closed in May 2010.
