Duo Avanzando at UAFS

Local clarinetist David Carter and Brazilian percussionist Ricardo Coelho de Souza perform a selection of works by Puerto Rican composer William Ortiz and American composer Bernadette Speach that merge traditional classical elements with Latin musical style. Carter and Souza created Duo Avanzando in 2008 to explore repertoire for clarinet and percussion. Since then they have performed in the United States and abroad.
