It’s official: Serial embezzler Jeri Qedan is out of prison — again — on parole.

The Arkansas Parole Board’s victim notification service confirmed that Qedan, also known as Jeri Freshwater, was released July 19. The board voted June 19 on her application for early release due to good behavior.

The Fayetteville resident served one year of a 10-year sentence — with 30 years suspended — for stealing $60,000 from Tontitown-based health care staffing firm The Right Solutions, where she had once been chief financial officer.

This is the second time Qedan, 49, has gotten out early for good behavior. She previously served only nine months of a 20-year sentence, with 18 years suspended, for stealing $74,000 from another employer, Complete Inc. of Springdale.
