Gov. Mike Beebe (D) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Rosemary Alcon, Ozark, to the Arkansas Board of Health Education. Appointment expires July 31, 2015. Replaces Dana Smith.

Lawrence Berkley, Little Rock, reappointed to the Medical Ionizing Radiation Licensure Committee. Appointment expires July 1, 2015.

Dr. Christopher Blackmon, Roland, to the Medical Ionizing Radiation Licensure Committee. Appointment expires July 1, 2015. Replaces Dr. William Traylor.

Rance Bryant, Conway, to the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness. Appointee serves at the will of the governor.

Jim Carroll III, Brinkley, reappointed to the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Terry Dabbs, Stuttgart, reappointed to the Arkansas Wheat Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Paul Dottley, Sr., Monticello, to the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2013. Replaces Jim Allen.

Charles Ellis, El Dorado, reappointed to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. Appointment expires July 1, 2014.
