The Foundation of Butterfield Trail Village, Northwest Arkansas’ only LifeCare retirement community, recently appointed Maureen Cover-Bryan as the Foundation’s new executive director. Cover-Bryan will oversee operations of the Butterfield Trail Village Foundation.

She previously served as executive director of the Rogers Public Library Foundation. Cover-Bryan received her bachelor’s degree in English from Oglethorpe University (Atlanta, Ga.) and earned her master’s degree in business administration from Webster University in Fayetteville.

In addition to her Foundation responsibilities, Cover-Bryan will lead fundraising efforts for Butterfield Trail Village as Development Director. She is active in Altrusa International of Rogers.

“It is exciting to take on this important role to sustain and grow a vibrant continuing care retirement community,” Cover-Bryan says of her new role at Butterfield. “I am especially looking forward to working with the Boards of Butterfield Trail Village and Foundation to achieve the Village’s vision for the 21st Century.”

Opened in 1986 by five local churches – First United Presbyterian, Central United Methodist, First Christian, St. Paul’s Episcopal and First Baptist – Butterfield Trail Village’s 44-acre campus offers active older adults worry-free living that is independent, secure and fulfilling with the freedom to enjoy plentiful activities both inside and outside the Village.
