Bruce promoted, Terry hired at First National Bank

Britany Bruce has been promoted to commercial services officer at First National Bank of Fort Smith, and Sam Terry has been hired as a trust officer.

Bruce was previously retail sales coordinator. She is scheduled to graduate in May 2013 with a degree in banking and is active in the community with the United Way, the “Step Up Speak Out” Community Campaign, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the Rotary Club Pen Pal Program.

Terry will be responsible for existing clients as well as business development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Arkansas, and earned a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

He serves as the president of the Sebastian County Bar Association, Children’s Emergency Shelter board member, board member for the Leadership Fort Smith Advisors and Alumni Association and is a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He previously was a law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge P.K. Holmes, Chief Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
