Democratic Party of Arkansas Chairman Will Bond appointed J. Harmon Smith of Wynne to the State Board of Election Commissioners.
A farmer and attorney, Smith has served on the Cros
s County Election Commission.
Bond said Smith “brings the right kind of experience” to the state board.
Smith's term will expire on June 22, 2016. He replaces Jason Willett.
