Miss UA Fort Smith is a preliminary to the Miss Arkansas Pageant, which will take place in July in Hot Springs. The winner of Miss Arkansas will then go on to compete in the Miss America Pageant. Contestants will compete in five events: evening gown, interview, physical fitness and swimsuit, talent, and on-stage question and answer. Scholarships will be awarded to Miss UA Fort Smith, runners-up, and various category winners, such as congeniality, GPA and interview.
