Jindal to Headline Republican Reagan-Rockefeller Dinner
The Republican Party of Arkansas will announce later on Friday that Louisiana Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal will be the keynote speaker at their annual Reagan-Rockefeller Dinner on July 27.
Jindal was elected Governor in 2007 without a runoff which is rare in Louisiana's complicated election system. He is considered one of the leading Republicans nationally and is often mentioned as a possible Vice Presidential nominee. This year's Reagan-Rockefeller Dinner (yes, they are dropping the Governor's Dinner name) will be July 27 at the Hot Springs Convention Center at 7:00 pm with a reception beforehand at 5:30 pm. Tickets will be set at $125 a person and more information should be coming soon at ArkansasGOP.org.
The state convention will be the next day, July 28, in Hot Springs as well.
