Benton County ramps up emergency management program

Benton County Emergency Management Agency (BCEMA) recently selected Previstar’s Continual Preparedness System (CPS) as its incident management platform to help handle the county's emergency operations.
Robert McGowen, BCEMA Director, said budgets are tight and the Previstar system gives the county a cost effective way to achieve its emergency management objectives.
He said CPS is the only platform he's found that helps him link the county's plans with the appropriate response by creating a library of threats and then activating them during an incident.
Other organizations using Previstar's CPS include: the U.S. Navy, states of Pennsylvania, Alabama and Massachusetts.
