Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe on Tuesday (June 12) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions.

Josh Blevins, Little Rock, to the State Board of Private Career Education. Appointment expires April 15, 2013. Replaces J.D. Wallace.

Henry Boyce, Newport, reappointed to the Arkansas Sentencing Commission. Appointment expires May 15, 2017.

Alvin Bradley, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Arkansas Sentencing Commission. Appointment expires May 15, 2017.

Doug Brown, White Hall, to the Jefferson County Quorum Court. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2012. Replaces Cleddie Shock.

Vickie Burlsworth, Harrison, to the Arkansas Board of Dispensing Opticians. Appointment expires June 30, 2014. Replaces Ted Fotioo, Sr.

William Coffee, O.D., Hope, reappointed to the State Board of Optometry. Appointment expires April 26, 2017.

Adren Duncan, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Independent Living Council. Appointment expires February 1, 2013. Replaces Martha Minor.
