Arkansas Best CEO Joins St. Louis Fed’s Transportation Council
Judy McReynolds, Arkansas Best Corp.’s president and CEO, has been named to the Transportation Industry Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
McReynolds, 50, has held the Fort Smith holding company’s top position since January 2010.
The St. Louis Fed created four District Industry Councils in 2006. Each is designed to provide feedback about economic conditions within a key industry sector.
Members’ observations are represented in monetary policy deliberations in Washington, D.C.
The Transportation Industry Council meets twice a year in Memphis. The other councils are real estate, agribusiness and health care.
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, with branches in Little Rock, Louisville and Memphis, serves the states that comprise the Federal Reserve’s Eighth District, which includes all of Arkansas, eastern Missouri, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, western Kentucky, western Tennessee and northern Mississippi.
