Jeri Qedan, who last June began serving a 10-year sentence (with 30 years suspended) in state prison for stealing from her employers, has a parole hearing tentatively scheduled for July 26, according to the Arkansas Parole Board.

Qedan, who turns 49 this month, previously served nine months of a 20-year sentence for thefts of $74,000 from Complete Inc. of Springdale. Eighteen years of that sentence were suspended, and she was eligible for parole after nine months for good behavior.

Her current incarceration stems from her guilty plea last May to stealing $60,000 from a Tontitown-based health care staffing firm called The Right Solutions.

The Fayetteville native, also known as Jeri Freshwater, was ordered to repay the money she stole from TRS at a rate of $400 a month once she’s out of prison.
