Breakfast to Focus on Regional Economy
University of Arkansas economist Kathy Deck will discuss the region’s economy during the first quarter, as well as trends and projections, during the quarterly business breakfast at 6:45 a.m. May 4.
Held at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development at 145 N. Buchanan Ave. on the UA campus, the hourlong program and breakfast costs $35. Registration by May 2 is required.
“Key investments and strategic planning during the recession and early recovery mean that the Northwest Arkansas economy is poised for a new mix of employment growth,” Deck, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, said in a release.
