Simmons First National Bank Promotes Three

Simmons First National Bank promoted Darren Wyatt to Vice President, Todd Carter to Assistant Vice President, and Misti Smykla to Consumer Banking Officer.

Wyatt serves as a commercial loan officer for the Western Region of the Consumer Banking Group.  He has nearly 22 years of financial services experience in the Fort Smith. Wyatt is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance. In October 2002, Wyatt successfully completed the American Bankers Association National Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University.

Carter, located in central Arkansas, serves as an IT Project Manager and Technology Specialist for the IT Group. He has six years of experience working with Simmons First and has more than 20 years of experience working previously as a systems/applications programmer, computer operator, senior systems engineer and IT Manager.

Smykla holds the position of Consumer Banking Sales and Classic Club Director with responsibility to the Pine Bluff Branches. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business.  She joined Simmons First in February 2000 working for Simmons First Investor Services prior to recently joining the Consumer Banking Group in her current position.
