Fayetteville Restaurant Owner Eyeing Hotel Venture
Scott Bowman has an exciting year ahead of him.
The owner of Theo’s upscale restaurant near Dickson Street in Fayetteville is planning a second location in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers, scheduled to open the first of May.
That much you have probably heard. What Bowman is equally jazzed about is another Fayetteville venture.
Theo’s, the restaurateur tells us, will open a location inside one of the city’s landmark buildings, The Chancellor.
The 15-story high-rise most recently was the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It was sold last year to Southwind Hospitality Holdings LLC, a group led by Mississippian Ike Thrash and Sam Alley of Little Rock, for $3.8 million.
The 30-year-old building is undergoing a $16 million renovation and is scheduled for a grand opening this fall. Theo’s will also provide the room service at the 210-room luxury hotel.
