New American Paintings to feature Arnold art
University of Arkansas at Fort Smith adjunct faculty member Kevin Arnold will be featured in the next issue of New American Paintings.
New American Paintings was founded in 1993 as a experiment in art publishing. With more than 5,000 artists viewed annually, it has become Americas largest and most important series in artist publications.
Each competition is cataloged in a unique volume: Northeast, South, Midwest,West, Pacific coast, and the MFA Annual. Featured artists are selected on the basis of artistic merit.
New American Paintings is a juried exhibition in print. Each edition results from a highly competitive juried competition and presents the work of 40 painters.
Thousands of artists enter every year but only a limited number make it through the jurying process. This year’s Southern edition will be the 100th issue.
