Forty Under 40: Tiphany Hall
Tiphany Hall was promoted to her current job in October 2011 after just six months with the company. She has made her mark quickly.
Since then, Hall has connected SVI to the Asia-Pacific market by facilitating business relationships in Singapore. That marked the first overseas work for SVI, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year.
Hall has plenty more to do. Her goals are to diversify SVI’s current portfolio of nearly 50 clients, establish new clients internationally and launch new cutting-edge technology.
Of being successful, Hall said that’s a matter of “being smarter and more prepared than the next guy.”
She earned a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from Mississippi State in 2005, and needed only 11 months to earn an MBA from Arkansas State.
Her work for a doctorate will be complete in the coming months.
Hall, a Northeast Arkansas native, arrived here in January 2009 to work at the World Trade Center Arkansas. She took a job at NWACC six months later.
Among the many hats worn there, Hall was an instructor in the Walmart Retail Management Program, a Sam M. Walton Fellow and an adviser to the Students in Free Enterprise organization.
Hall volunteers for many organizations, including Saving Grace, and enjoys scuba diving, having achieved a Master Scuba Diver certification.
