Mardi Gras, a fun and casual midwinter party, is the largest annual fundraiser for the Fort Smith Museum of History. The evening opens with cocktails at 6:00, a Cajun dinner at 7:00 followed by a live auction with auctioneer Doug Schwartz featuring fabulous trips and parties awarded to the highest bidder. Master of Ceremonies Darren Bobb keeps things exciting along with a New Orleans style line band. After dinner, dance to the music of “Mr. Cabbage Head and the Screamin’ Radishes,” a Mardi Gras tradition.
For only $10.00 purchase a chance to win a $2,000.00 shopping spree from Newton’s Jewelers. Tickets may be purchased from Fort Smith Museum of History board members or the night of the event. The winner is not required to be present.
