Bentonville planners unanimously approved large-scale plans for Central Park Junior High, a 100,116-SF school that will be built at 5303 S.W. Bright Road. The Bentonville School District presented the plans to the Planning Commission on Dec. 20.

Hight-Jackson Associates PA of Rogers is the architect for the project, which will accommodate about 800 7th- and 8th-graders and 80 staff members.

The architectural drawings depict a brick, block and metal clad building of multiple heights.

The new school will be adjacent to Central Park Elementary at Morningstar, also designed by Hight-Jackson.
