Isam Abdel-Karim, MD, has joined Drs. John Wells, Narender Gorukanti, and Daniel Mackey of the Cooper Clinic Department of Hematology/Oncology.
Through the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, he completed a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation and three Medical Fellowships including hematology/oncology, hospice/palliative medicine and geriatric medicine.
Abdel-Karim is board-certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, hospice/palliative medicine, hematology and medical oncology.
Abdel-Karim came to Cooper Clinic from San Antonio, Texas, where he served as a staff physician and clinical assistant professor.
Located in the Hembree Regional Cancer Center at 7301 Rogers Ave., Fort Smith, the Cooper Clinic Hematology/Oncology Department includes a 32-member team of physicians and staff.
