New Senior Care in Bethel Heights?
A proposed $6.24 million assisted-living facility in Bethel Heights is being reviewed by the Arkansas Health Services Permit Agency, which is expected to make a decision on the proposal by Jan. 20.
Maple Senior Living of Bethel Heights LC would be built at 750 Fat Horse Drive, a 16.91-acre tract south of East Apple Blossom Avenue near South Old Wire Road. The land last sold in 2004 for $1.62 million, according to Zillow.com.
The facility would add 75 beds to Benton County’s current 236 licensed beds for residents needing Level II care, or help with daily personal needs.
The county currently has 492 licensed or approved residential-care and assisted-living facility beds, with a projected need of 944 by 2016, according to the agency.
