FutureFuel Buys Batesville Facility, But No Plans To Expand For Now
FutureFuel Chemical Co. says it has finalized an agreement with Emerson Corp. to purchase the vacant White-Rodgers facility in Batesville. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Currently, there are no plans to use the building for expansion purposes. FutureFuel officials say the building and its parking lot will be used for warehouse storage and fleet parking.
There are no plans to expand the workforce due to the purchase at this time either.
“The central location of the facility and the access from Harrison Street make it an ideal location for a temporary warehouse,” said Sam Dortch, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Batesville FutureFuel Chemical Company facility.
FutureFuel is a manufacturer of chemicals and biofuels.
