Lau receives CCIM designation

Realtor Keith Lau of King Realty Group-Weichert Realtors has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors and one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world since 1969.
Only about 6% of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation.
The CCIM is awarded upon successful completion of a graduate-level education curriculum and presentation of a portfolio of qualifying experience. Lau had to complete 200 classroom hours and meet professional experiential requirements addressing financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis, the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate, according to a statement from Weichert.
CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation and investment analysis. There are more than 9,000 CCIMs in 1,000 markets throughout the United States, Canada and 30 additional countries.
