Attorney General McDaniel Endorses Hall’s Congressional Bid (Updated)
Attorney General Dustin McDaniel (D) today endorsed First District Congressional candidate Clark Hall (D-Marvell).
McDaniel, a Jonesboro native, has performed exceedingly well in elections within many First District counties.
“Clark Hall has the experience to provide the leadership Arkansas and the country needs in Congress,” McDaniel said. “Clark Hall will make the tough choices and take action to create jobs and strengthen the economy in Eastern Arkansas and Northeastern Arkansas. He has the proven track record in private business, as a mayor and a state legislator that he can create jobs, improve the economy and address our nation’s budget with a common-sense approach to balancing it. Arkansas needs Clark Hall.”
Hall announced his bid for the Democratic nomination for Congress in October. Earlier this month, Gary Latanich, an Arkansas State University economics professor, also announced for the Democratic nomination for the seat. First District Rep. Rick Crawford (R) is serving his first term in Congress.
UPDATE: McDaniel also appears in a campaign video for Hall. You can view the short clip in the link below.
