Advocacy Group Hires Strong As New Health Policy Director
Anna Strong has been named health policy director for Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. The Little Rock-based non-profit promotes information and education regarding state policies toward children and families.
Strong has a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a Master of Public Service degree from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. She’s also an alumna of Hendrix College. Strong has been serving as a senior policy analyst at the UAMS Center for Rural Health.
She replaces Elisabeth Wright Burak, who is moving to the Georgetown Center for Children and Families in Washington, D.C.
