Trane Arkansas Name Change Reflects New Model, Capabilities
Effective Nov. 1, Trane Arkansas will change its name to Harrison Energy Partners.
The change “clearly reflects our business focus and conveys that our expertise extends further than our traditional lighting and HVAC capabilities,” CEO Bill Harrison said in a prepared statement. “By integrating our proprietary diagnostic software and energy management practices into our business model, we are uniquely positioned to evaluate energy use, quickly eliminate energy waste and significantly impact the cost of building operation for our customers.”
The name change will not result in a reduction in work force, according to the release. Instead, the release indicated HEP expects a growth in staff as it broadens its business capabilities.
HEP will continue to be Trane’s authorized commercial systems and service representative in Arkansas, and customers are not expected to experience service disruptions. Additionally, the company will begin a new training program for employees to ensure up-to-date education in terms of current industry technologies and system applications.
HEP employs more than 125 people, including its Little Rock operations center and other locations in Fort Smith, Springdale and Texarkana, according to the release.
