Drinkwitz named COO at Sparks Health System
Jeremy Drinkwitz has been promoted from an associate administrator to the chief operating officer of Sparks Health System. The new role begins Oct. 16.
Drinkwitz, employed by Health Management Associates since 2006, worked as an assistant or associate administrator at health care facilities in Virginia, Florida and Mississippi before joining Sparks in December 2009.
While at Sparks, Drinkwitz has been the driving force behind many initiatives to improve patient care, including the new Sparks Radiation Treatment Center, according to a hospital statement.
An Alma, Ark., native, Drinkwitz earned a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University and a master’s degree in health service administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
