The Democratic Party of Arkansas today publicly unveiled a new radio ad that will soon start running in targeted markets across the state.

During a well-attended quarterly state committee meeting in Conway, the DPA shared the new 60-second spot that starts running on Tuesday.

The ad covers Arkansas Democrats impressive record of fighting for working families, helping small businesses grow and passing the largest tax cut in Arkansas history.

The new radio ad is part of a strategy the DPA rolls out next week that includes a new website with strong social media tools and the ability for county committees to organize online.  Next week, I’ll share other parts of the plan the DPA discussed today.

The DPA reported a cash-on-hand balance of roughly $1.5 million, making them extremely well-funded for next year’s legislative races.

Through the magic of the iPhone, I captured the audio for the new spot.  Click here to listen to the DPA’s new radio spot.

Arkansas Democrats heard speeches from Governor Mike Beebe, Senator Mark Pryor, Congressman Mike Ross and House Speaker Robert Moore.  Moore reported the Democratic House Caucus has a fundraising event next month and has already raised $50,000 of their $75,000 goal.

1st Congressional District candidate Clark Hall also addressed the crowd and shared his message of how Democrats will defeat incumbent Rick Crawford.

Arkansas Democrats are getting organized, energized and ready to fight for 2012.
